New visual workbench streamlines configuration and management of ADS simulation runs
PLEASANTON, Calif - July 15, 2009 - AeroDynamic Solutions, Inc. (ADS) announced the beta availability of the ADS Workbench, a graphical application to simplify the configuration and management of turbomachinery CFD simulations.
Designed for novice and power users alike, the workbench enables users to tap into the advanced capabilities of the ADS flow solver Leo and mesh generator Wand with ease. Key features include:
- Integrated wizards to streamline the setup of CFD cases, including 2D cascade, 3D single row steady, 3D multi-row steady and 3D time accurate runs
- Import data validation to trap common configuration errors at the source
- Automated generation of setup and execution files for local execution
- File management tools to keep cases organized
Available for Windows and Linux, the workbench is currently included as part of the ADS 1.3 solution suite which was also released today. For more information or to register to download an evaluation, please visit our website at www.adscfd.com.
"The ADS Workbench allows compressor and turbine designers to tap into our turbomachinery CFD capabilities with ease," said George Fan, CEO of AeroDynamic Solutions. "Whether it be for simple 2D cascade runs or large scale, multi-stage time accurate simulations, the workbench speeds setup, minimizes configuration errors and keeps cases organized."
