Using LETE option 10 in Code Wand
In Code WAND, option 10 for LETE will switch the spline fitting process from cubic to linear interpolation. This can be useful when the mesh shows a wavy behavior even when the incoming airfoil data looks good to the naked eye.
A common source of mesh problems is a sharp transition between a densly defined trailing or leading edge and then a very sparse definition of the pressure and/or suction side of the airfoil, as shown below. This problem can be resolved by modifying the point distribution to create a more gradual transition between the densely defined trailing or leading edge and the pressure or suction side of the airfoil, or by enabled LETE = 10 in the .AGF file.
